Latest updated theme: Intelligent and Talking Animals
Wow, this theme ended up a lot bigger than we expected. After Sophie did extensive research and data entry, it turns out there are more than 2,000 books that mention sentient animals and/or animals that talk. Many, but not all by far, are books for kids and teens. Another common related theme is of course magic.

Happy New Year!
SciFan is now five year old, and grew by orders of magnitude during that time. Though we can't always answer all the emails we receive in a timely basis, we do act on them (sooner or later) so please keep them coming, as information sent by writers and readers is instrumental to our continued improvement and growth. Speaking of which, the latest theme to have been thoroughly revisited is Investigations - Mystery - Cops, Detectives & PIs - Thrillers. There are more than 4,000 fantasy and scifi books listed there!
