After the bombs, the world still goes on--but it moves in a dangerous new rhythm. Minneapolis had survived the bombs that had decimated most of the Western Hemisphere, and Sparrow, a survivor and hustler, adapted to the new city. The nightmare began with inexplicable blackouts-waking up in new places with no memory of recent events and experiences. The "Horsemen" had the power take over the bodies and memories of anyone around them, and they had come to Minneapolis to carry out their own private war.
