  Los Angeles: The Near Future.

Vampirism is epidemic. Master vampire Andre Nevindoss has broken the cardinal rule by letting the spread of the undead go unchecked and revealing the existence of vampires to humans. Liz Roth, a rogue bloodsucker involved in distributing a popular narcotic laced with the vampire virus, is working on her own plan to reduce the human population. With a quarter of LA's residents either dead or undead, the Vampire Annihilation Methods Project has been assembled to save the remaining citizens and permanently remove the vampire threat.

While VAMP has access to the best technology both on and off the planet, Nevindoss has the benefit of surviving for five hundred years. He is able to counter every offensive and erase every advantage gained with their technology.

Where VAMP is unsuccessful in getting close enough to stop Nevindoss, Kristi Tanner, a reporter for a local news station, finds herself face to face with the master vampire. Not realizing the threat Tanner poses, Nevindoss let's his guard down and receives a near mortal wound as he attempts to bring her across. When Nevindoss recovers, his hatred for VAMP is dwarfed by his desire to make Tanner suffer for an eternity.

Unknown to VAMP, the ruling vampire clan of Europe, which has destructive technology of their own, has set a countdown to eliminate Nevindoss. But their method will remove Los Angeles and everyone in it as well.
