Nadir is a modern-day, Journey to the Center of the Earth.

During the Cold War, Soviet missile trains constantly moved nuclear payloads all over Siberia, preventing their detection by satellites and spy planes. In a new nuclear conflict, a wary US government ignores proliferation treaty requirements, and places fifty warheads at the base of an enormous tunnel structure, extending to the depths of the earth. Out of sight, out of mind. One of the warheads malfunctions. The radiation risks force a Special Forces team to infiltrate the damaged and abandoned complex. As they make their way through a relic security perimeter, they soon discover that the bomb is the least of their worries.
