Pirate Captain Ellison Firebrandt raided star ships until his past caught up with him and he was exiled to a planet called Sufiro. The planet proved to be a virtual paradise housing great riches and a haven for those who had lost all hope. As entrepreneurs arrived and fought for control of Sufiro, a vast alien power appeared, threatening humanity's very existence.
