Welcome to the "Fair-land" of Big Mama!

A nuclear exchange leads to the demise of the United States and Canada. In their place arises a liberal "paradise" called Fairland, a place where everybody is equal (The elites, in charge, are MORE equal than everybody else, however!) and ambition is punished. "To be equal in poverty is to be truly blessed!" (state slogan.) Technology in this utopia takes a giant step backward with the dastardly, polluting automobile made illegal. All citizens - except for the rulers, of course - are encouraged to ride the wave of the future - something called a bicycle (after the successful Chinese model).

At the head of this slave state is a dictator called Big Mama - a black, hispanic, lesbian lady, who gained power by being politically correct. Big Mama rules with a loving but iron hand.

In faint shades of 1984, this hilarious yarn has protagonist John Winston seeking to escape the suffocation of socialism. The freedom, that is his birthright, is his guide.
