Fear has been redefined. Terror comes in a new form. It is older than dirt, younger than time. Enter into the world of insanity...tommy awaits you.
Federal Agent Tyler Tennison has been assigned to a "runaway" case in the dreary small town of Westminster, Kansas, where she discovers the brutal killings of two transients. The plentiful highway of drifters through Westminster has evaporated into a barren field of stripped flesh and crushed bones. The residents of the town have all seemed to miraculously attain knowledge in particular fields, expertise, that is not their own, which is slowly transforming the town into a self-sustaining habitat. As the body count continues to rise, it appears that the sheriff is somehow involved in the grizzly slayings. The residents of the town all share one thing in common, fear of a legend that has come to life in a vile murderous rage, snatching anything of flesh within its reach from the forest, where innocent blood was spilled from a time long past. Tennison realizes that a seven-year-old boy, Timothy Colby, the only inhabitant of the town unaffected by the phenomenon, holds the key to the thing's undoing...something that is older than dirt, younger than time.
