  Twelve-year-old Mason lived a sheltered life on a rural farm. His farm is in the shadow of a magical mountain where he dreams of having an adventure. He is shortly led into an adventure by an elf-like creature. When he finds he is not able to return to his home, he continues on, meeting magical animals and dangerous creatures. To return home, he must find and replace a sacred stone on the mountain. To do this, he must face a giant, a waterfall, and a wall of fire. If he accomplishes his adventure, he will be able to save his uncle and father and protect his mother and little sister.
