       Additional Information
Doug Colby's father is lost in an ultra-light plane crash, forcing him to leave university to run his ranch. Doug's fiancée chooses to live in the city. She and five others disappear in a bizarre accident at his amateur radio telescope when they answer extraterrestrial graviton signals.

Naked and hairless, Mirhin arrives from a distant galaxy to reassure him his friends are safe. When local zealots burn down the telescope control center she stays to marry Doug and fight government intrigue, alien invaders, and a sinister non-living entity from another world.

Together they cross the universe to rescue a kidnapped scientist and her federal detective husband. Mirhin's father Keon makes a return visit, but he is not what he seems. He is shockingly changed in an assassination bid as he tries to leave Earth.

One by one, Doug's closest associates are corrupted. A former friend sends him and his gifted wife on an intergalactic mission. They materialize as the giant avian predators of Ch'ior to recover a genetic regeneration program. Doug battles local police accusations concerning his father's disappearance as he works to uncover the mystery of compatible DNA on three separate worlds.
