      Young Brit Milo grew up in near-intolerable conditions, constantly hounded by the looming shadow of his father, a known traitor who disgraced the impeccable record of the illustrious Imperax Military Corps. Struggling against seemingly immense odds, Brit joined that very organization and succeeded in a startling rise to the high rank of Captain-Major. All the while, Brit tries to find the reasons for his father's betrayal but fails, until the sudden reappearance of his father's archaic spaceship provides the means toward a solution.
