	Life is forever changed for two beings when the home planet of the Yendrens is destroyed by the evil race of shapeshifters called the Simeon. Ray Adar Fervid is the leader of the quite alien race called the Yendrens. His world is changed when his home planet is destroyed, forcing him to move his people, the surviving fifty members of his race, across the universe to an unknown planet along the way to Tarth, called Earth. Lizabeth Jane Curtain is a lonely orphan trying to overcome the loss of her adoptive Grandparent while going to college and dealing with a condescending professor. Now, with things settled between the two enemies, troubles start to rise as Ray shows a different side of him—an evil, cruel side—and the Simeons are closer than any of them could imagine.
