	Humans an endangered species? Invaders from another world are changing the planet. Our cities have been destroyed and the evacuees imprisoned in storage facilities—frozen in artificial hibernation until they’re needed as laborers. Manjohnah and the Commanders will do anything to satisfy their alien Masters, as they go about the business of building towers and subduing the human stragglers who plague their organization. Survivors are few and far between, but those who escaped the evacuations know Manjohnah must be stopped. Fleet, the rebels’ leader, is Manjohnah’s prisoner and has been sentenced to life as an Expendable. While Fleet wastes away in the frozen north, his followers are faced with other problems. The enemy is sending his convoys through their territory, but for Daniel, it’s his opportunity to unite the fractured alliances and exact his vengeance on the man who stole the land that had been his family’s for generations.
