       Additional Information

What if a foreign power released a lethal biological warfare agent on American soil! Is there enough vaccine? If so, who would get it? Are we prepared? POX answers these questions when the President learns the nation is under siege. He scrambles to prepare himself and the nation for a pandemic outbreak of deadly smallpox. POX is fiction: however, provocative events and challenges that would face the nation closely borders reality. Americaís population nears 300 million; only 13 million doses of vaccine exist. The President must make an agonizing decision: who will live and who will die! The epidemic spreads. Millions perish. Food and medical supplies are in short demand and the nationís infrastructure crumbles and fails. The Presidentís back is against the wall; he strikes back. Without option, he authorizes a submarine-launched nuclear strike and decimates our nationís enemies. Pox asks the disturbing question: can it happen?
