"The Early Fears" is a vintage collection of 39 stories by the acknowledged grand master of horror, Robert Bloch. During a career that has spanned more than half a century, Mr. Bloch began writing short supernatural tales for pulp magazines such as "Weird Tales" in the 30s, expanded to crime and science fiction stories in the 50s, and eventually to such acclaimed novels of psychological terror as "Psycho" and "The Night of the Ripper". Besides short fiction and novels, he has written many scripts for film and television and has just completed his autobiography.
