At the age of three, Dager is stolen from his family and sold to a wicked old hag. By the time he is five, his previous life is all but forgotten and the only solace he finds is within the company of his loyal animal friends. After repeated dreams of magical, faraway lands filled with fun, laughter and love, he begins to wonder if they really are dreams, or actual memories. Little does he know that his real family has been searching for him the entire time he's been gone, and they desperately want him back.
