Then when gold is found in their basement, suddenly everyone is interested, especially a money-hungry thief who tries to kick the Zarza's out of their home to get what he claims is his own. With the help of the amazing laptop, Matt, Lamar, Gill, and Alfonzo throw their world into high gear as they band together to save Alfonzo's house and stop a thief in his tracks. They set up a sting of their own, but it goes wacky and wrong and Matt ends up in the driver's seat of a speeding stock car. Matt and his friends find out that the most important race of all is the one they live every day in Christ.
