If I’d known then what I know now…
But when was then and when was now? Everything was back to front, topsy-turvy. Now was dull, dismal December 1940. Then—three months ago—had been sunny June 2002.
While studying World War II, students Sophie, Marina and Quigs excavate the old air-raid shelter in front of their South London school with the help of their teacher, Heinrich Schmidt, and an elderly neighbour, Bert Martin. Following an accident in the shelter and the disappearance of Mr. Martin, they leave the shelter to discover they are in the thick of the Blitz.
