This is a memoir of a few years in the mid-1990s by a young man who finds himself experiencing a spontaneous awakening of his Kundalini energy, in the midst of a series of adventurous wanderings across the western U.S., from Austin, Texas to interior Alaska. He spends summers at Rainbow Gatherings, festivals and spiritual ceremonies across the Western U.S., as he searches for a community of like-minded individuals. The book is a wise and genuine account of the spiritual quest, that also documents the survival and development of 1960s youth culture.
