Anything for love…
Max Fletcher, the last survivor of a long line of odd men dating all the way back to Elizabethan playwright John Fletcher, searches the city of Philadelphia for a soul mate, fearing that loneliness will drive him toward madness. With some help from a peculiar old neighbor, he meets Kayla Horn, a mysterious woman who fulfills all of Fletcher’s innermost desires. Before long, however, Fletcher’s world turns upside down when Kayla Horn steals a precious family heirloom—a folio believed to have been written by Fletcher’s famous playwright ancestor.
Infuriated, Fletcher breaks into Kayla Horn’s apartment to retrieve his stolen property. The closer Fletcher gets to his goal, the greater the illumination on SCAM, the Secret Cabal of Ancient Mysteries, a secret order that knows a thing or two about Fletcher’s prized folio and the thief responsible for taking it…
