	In 1990 when a distant alien race, called the Nell, discovers that Earth has a new space telescope capable of discovering their distant planet, they take action. A voyager makes the many-year journey to disable the Hubble, but when the craft does not return, a rescue mission must be forged. It will take the friendship of a human to make it a success. The year is now 2005 and Gable Flagstaff has found himself on the run and tangled in a political plot to exploit an alien crash landing. The military is after him; a scientist wants to dissect him, and he's got a new friend he can't shake.
