      By the year 0080, the children in the “New Continents,” beneath the earth’s surface, held no resemblance to their human ancestors. The original “chosen” refugees to the cavernous depths beneath the earth had adapted. Their descendants, altered through evolution and scientific intervention, created new homelands—seven protected “Domed City States,” each autonomously self-sustaining and self-governed. Until the third generation of offspring, citizens remained securely content in their isolated domes. Thereafter, the quiescent existence transformed into restlessness, leading to inquisitiveness and need for exploration beyond their secluded home. Leaders acquiesced, exposing each pure, “Created Species” to one another…with disastrous consequences…then war was waged…
