  The ten-year peace is over. Kai Sajjadian has just graduated from the Naval Combat Flight School as the deadliest fighter pilot in the United Star Systems Navy only to learn that his home world, along with his entire family, has been destroyed by the Nantobroman, a race of genetically engineered humans created by mankind on Earth over two thousand years ago.
