	For countless years, a dragon named Venomonous plagued the Four Lands of Zyra with his fiery destruction. He fell asleep for a millennium and a seer prophesied his demise: Five chosen by birth among the races would rise up together and put an end to the dragon. Ryenorath, the son of an inn-keeping farmer, is stalked by malevolent shadows in the manifestation of men cloaked in black. Zenor, the Prowling Shadow, tells him that he is the most vital chosen of the Prophecy, the one with a mysteriously commanding voice. The Shadows mark him as their next victim, and Ryen embarks on a journey across all of Zyra, searching for the other four prophesied to join him in his quest to slay Venomonous. He finds a Clairinian archer, a haunted warrior, the princess of the Volcanic Mountain, and a spoiled princess. Together they journey over Zyra towards the dragon's lair, fighting off the dragon's soldiers and even the dragon himself. Ryen must sacrifice all he has to succeed or the quest will fail.
