  The heinous mutilation and monstrous murder of an innocent maiden sent a once-respected Knight to his doom. His demise not only destroyed a kingdom, it also woke an ancient devastation from its eternal slumber. An age has passed, and though some things have been remembered in song and engravings, others have been long forgotten. Strange dreams haunt the druidess Ravenna, showing her a future that must not come to pass. She sets off on a journey that takes her across the realm - across reality itself. Along the way, she meets others affected by an unknown plot, apparently perpetrated by the Knight that should be dead. But there is more at stake than anyone can see, or imagine.
