       Additional Information
Is our destiny mapped out for us? Do we live our lives according to the stars that we are born under? These questions are answered as we travel back into the fourteenth century. We meet Daniella a peasant girl, who is taken under the wing of a noble knight, along with Frambert the Saxon slave and journey with them into a land where the king is insane, the land is overrun by thugs and love is ever-present. Roland de Bouvier, a knight living in the fourteenth century adopts three children due to the dire circumstances of the time. Daniella D' Anduze is one of these children, her life that was destined to be one of hardship and poverty changes into one of luxury and wealth. But not for long, her free spirit often gets her into trouble, and although it is forbidden, she takes long rides into the countryside until one day she is betrayed and sold into slavery. The slave traders who capture her, take her on a journey across ancient France. She is bought by a Turkish soldier. Together they journey across the French Alps where she is finally delivered into the Sultans Harem. Her adoptive father, Roland employs the Viking Ulf, to find her, whilst fighting his own battles to keep Bouvier Castle. Frambert - the other child, is of Saxon origin and a former slave. As children he and Daniella play together and as adults they fall in love. He proves to be a worthy fighter and adversary to his adoptive brother, Carter. Carter is a sly and bitter student from England, regards himself as the heir to Bouvier Castle, and would go to extremes to rid himself of the pair. Although educated he has a cowardly manner and does not reach Roland's expectations as a knight, however the fact that he arrived at Bouvier Castle is not as circumstantial as everybody is led to believe. He is hiding a dark secret, one that contains lies, deception and murder. Soon, the trials of Roland, Daniella and Frambert unravel and the very presence of Carter, threatens to destroy what they have come to know as a family.
