       Additional Information
A coded nursery rhyme predicts calamitous upheaval for a dynastic family. The gods of Olympus have safely relocated and adapted with the times, but Time himself wants revenge on the usurper son who supplanted him as Ascendant. He uses his exiled wife, the Matriarch, to resurrect the primal myths of Tantalus, and Pandareus whose innocent daughters, though beloved of the gods were abandoned by them to be driven mad by the Furies. If there was ever either reason or logic to be found in this mindless cruelty and the gods' non-intervention, Time's daughter seeks answers as with hideous inevitability the myths unfold. Why is the theft of a golden dog so significant? What kind of power can a story have to pre-exist its own events by thousands of years?
