Crime is escalating! The government-s time travel program could help abolish the problem by sending people to collect control methods from the future, but skilled volunteers are lacking. When all else fails, extorting the much-needed talent has always been an option. A Homicide Detective for the Sacramento Police Department, Dixie Freeman-s rigid, frosty demeanor merits her moniker, -Diamond Dixie-, a label given by her peers. Waylaid and transported to the year 2250, Dixie must observe how crime is reduced and bring that knowledge back. She isn-t happy about going, but once there, she encounters a handsome tower of brawn that has her rethinking about returning home.
As Commander of the New York Police Department, Randall Forty directs a fleet of specially engineered androids that enforce the strict laws of the year 2250. While on patrol, Randall interrupts Xonn and his henchmen from assaulting a woman. Discerning that she is a fellow officer with no place to stay Randall offers his home to her, especially now that Xonn has listed her as one of his many targets. Randall cannot shake the sensual stirrings this attractive woman ignites; he reasons that maybe he has a malfunction somewhere.
Advanced technology and science has saved this renowned officer-s life, re-engineering Randall into a deadly combat officer, but has left him with no knowledge of his past. Mad when the city instills androids to police the streets, ex-police officer, Xonn, and his Underground minions terrorize the people of New York, while centered on annihilating Randall and his fleet of cybots.
Time is running short as they construct a plan to capture Xonn, and at the same time, figure a way to keep Dixie in Randall-s world.
