       Additional Information
All ten installments of the serial science fiction / mystery novel now in one complete volume!

I think murder is one reason why the Galactics keep the Rim species at a distance. Until we're smart enough to not to kill one another we won't be joining the Glittering Throng.

Of course then I would be out of a job.

My name is Brock Marsden. I'm a private detective on a planet named after it's single major city - Olinda. Being a private detective on a planet with a diverse mix of humans and aliens brings its own unique challenges. I'm also a Moreau. Using Glittering Throng technology I modify myself to incorporate the best traits of other species. It's a risky thing to do. One mistake and I could end up dead or worse. But it gives me the edge I need to take on the tough cases.

Like this one. A young woman, Chrissy Winston, is murdered in a bizarre fashion. Her wealthy father has contacts in the police force and calls me while the police are still at the scene. Something about this one makes him think that I'm the only one that can solve the crime...
