In a kingdom where light without fire equals infinite wealth, the status quo must be preserved at all costs. Murder... War... Genocide... All these are wielded upon its opponents of flesh and blood. But how can the powerful defeat an idea, a philosophy that threatens their centuries old system of corruption? One man, should he choose to act, can prevent the kingdom from tearing itself apart. But in order for this one man to save his nation from a devastating civil war, he must abandon his true love and allow the last luminous part of his soul to be blackened by the powerful, for whom he has already killed half a million people. If he chooses love and light, the kingdom burns. Will he have no other recourse but to choose the dark?
