Duxan Raster begins his journey of self-fulfillment bit by bit when his Dragon Prophecy turns true. He struggles with understanding of his position and his duty when too many destitute, dying and injured cross his path. Feeling ultimately responsible for every living or dying individual Duxan aids them all but loses his way even as the chaotic and unlawful Imperial war extends. Duxan clashes with Emperor Tsai and all his followers when he is not ready, Feslen has doubts of his own humanity and Prince Ka-Wei comes face to face with the people who dishonored his family name.
