Synopsis Haruspex are a telepathic tribe who can listen to a person’s thoughts at will and if they wish, enter their mind. Augurs have a hint of the past, a sense of the present, but no sign of the future as the skill of being able to see visions using panacea water has been lost. The Thaumas’ ancestors inbred strength into themselves that has passed to the next generation. The three groups were forced to abandon their homes settling in the Cruors’ kingdom. The Cruors have a regenerating gift as their blood can naturally heal themselves when they are sick or wounded, but it can also be used to replicate the same reaction in others. The vahally of Fend Maynear is enclosed by the forest and mountains above. The Haruspex twins, Dristan and Rowe, have become embroiled in the recent massacre involving the resurrection of an ancient, vengeful soul into a child’s body; due to the latter brother’s actions. The distant brothers have no choice, but to run. Though, their childhood acquaintances are close on their trail. Freya and Lothar are twin authorities. However Lothar has always resented Rowe for surpassing him, while Freya is inadvertently in love with Dristan. Though, their love is considered an abomination. Inevitably there will have to be a showdown between the four twins and tribes.
