A shipwrecked Viking warrior washes up on the shore of a rocky outcrop in the middle of the North Atlantic. Instead of dying of exposure and starvation, he stumbles into a secret realm, one that he assumes is the home of Odin, the god of choice for Viking warriors. Odin, however, turns out to be a shipwreck survivor himself, a starship computer that has godlike aspirations and, with the help of a certain Viking warrior and a lot of time, becomes greater than the sum of his parts. Whether you are a drug-dealing rapist, an unscrupulous C.E.O. devoid of conscience or morals, a heroic firefighter, an overworked E.R. doctor, President of the United States, intergalactic spacefarer, master of the universe, or just a girl trying to make a living, you could find yourself experiencing the amazing influence of Odin. He will bring new meaning to the term “artificial intelligence.”
