   Additional Information

The third and final part of Andrew Daltons trilogy, about the adventures of Jamie and his tiny friends who secretly live in the picturesque garden of Malplaquet. After a freak accident, Jedekiah Biddle has discovered the actual head of his ancestor, Captain John Biddle the original kidnapper of the Lilliputians from their island home. Inspired by this fortunate event, Jedekiah plans to finally trap the tiny people who have eluded him for so long in the gardens of Malplaquet. However, their special teams, helped by many statues and unusual weather, avoid capture. Charlie, the younger brother of Jamie, has a bad encounter with some fairies, who also cause havoc at the schools Sports Day. Nigriff, the brave Lilliputian archivist, at last uncovers vital details about a famous ancestor, and realises the New Empire can finally begin. But it wont happen without a struggle and probably a sacrifice. . . . The earlier novels in the series are: 'The Temples of Malplaquet' 'The Lost People of Malplaquet' Praise for the earlier books in the series The stuff childrens dayreams are made of; an adventure, liberally salted with magic, winking with frequent good-humoured digs.
