	This book is the first of the series about a young girl named Lilyanna who triumphs over tragedy, discovering both herself and others around her. She summons ten elders who are possibly from her past to teach them that history is not always recorded as it happens, and that includes her own. These men and woman learn to overcome the prejudice placed upon other fantastic races and to accept others as they would themselves. Her own story is placed before them in an odd way; she literally sucks them into it, and where it goes from there…well, only she really knows.
