In 2048 the world is bleak and cold, a heavily polluted world of extreme weather and heavy overpopulation. Economic growth and production covers the globe, maintained by indentured workforces lured from the third-world poverty traps created by that economic drive. On their unspoilt dimension, the Fey races live with their own problems. Internal strife has been waged between two factions for millennia and now pollution has begun leaking into their world from ours; the background magical fields create a mutated Fey spirit that feeds upon life force, leaving large regions of twisted growth across the world. To get the pollution stopped, an Elven combat team is sent by Border Command back over the barrier to infiltrate so that the Fey can re-insert themselves into the collective human psyche, and so reverse the problem. Their first attempt had been during the '60's while trying to enlighten us. That time they were kicked out, but this time they are ready to fight. Suiche is a combat specialist, pulled from active duty in the wild forests to become an undercover operative, disguised as human for the mission's duration.
