	Derek and Sam are teenage cousins who love adventure and plan to spend the summer working on Sam’s family farm and hanging out. However, a mysterious medallion and a scroll with unusual directions lead them to a strange land fraught with danger that pushes the boundaries of adventure for our young heroes. Unique, deadly creatures permeate this world. A people who live a primitive lifestyle befriend Derek and Sam, and are the authors of the scroll. A giant antagonist threatens all the inhabitants. Death or slavery awaits all encountered, and death might well be the better choice rather than facing him or his guards, the animalistic Trolgasters and the backbreaking labor. Wits, bravery and Derek’s prowess with a simple slingshot gets put to the test time and again, and are tantamount to the survival of him, Sam and their newfound friends as they battle for freedom.
