       Additional Information
Natasha Carmichael returns home to a city in chaos. Helen of the Mercuria has stepped up her game and people and places close to Natasha and missing Master vampire Anton are paying the price. Trying to avoid another war, neither the Elders nor the Council will take action to help her unless she has tangible proof Helen is behind the trouble. Once Natasha finds it, Soong makes her a dark offer that gives her leverage with the Council, if they are smart enough to believe her.

Meanwhile, Patrick is circling closer to Natasha and while she fears he will find out about his son before she has a chance to tell him, her ex-lover’s true motives for being in town worry her more than anticipating what he might do to Chris. Adding drama to Natasha’s bad week are Mercy’s out of control wedding plans that have people jumping out of windows to escape and Fitch’s attempts to take the next step with Penny as an unlikely love square starts to form.

When matters in the city start to come to a head, Natasha must decide where exactly it is that she stands and her choice will not make certain people in her life happy.
