      In this fast-paced tale, people and animals all over the Milky Way are exploding due to a mysterious disease known only as “CLAG.” Brounlee—president of the mega-corporation Rang Enterprises, which has helped supply the galaxy and beyond with useful androids and vacuum drives—wants desperately to find a cure. In his quest, Brounlee recruits renegade Jale of Acheron—a rebel who knows more about the cure than he will let on. Jale; his android sidekick, Sherlock; and Pippin, a companion of Brounlee, travel through the center of the galaxy, sub-space, and warring Andromeda in an adventure to reach Brounlee with the cure before the disease destroys the human race.
