      Barry Lloyd had always felt unfulfilled in his ordinary life in the Wiltshire town of Swindon. After a suggestion from his Aunt, he goes on an extended hiking holiday in Wales, and discovers family he knew nothing about, albeit posthumously, an inheritance protected by enchantment, and a battle for the survival of both himself, and his newly discovered inheritance. How can he uncover the secrets which will unlock his sorcerous inheritance? Can he learn sufficient skills to defend himself in time to meet the expected attack.
