   Additional Information

This is not a work for the corporate drone who thinks stock options, faster computers and giant four-wheel drive commuter vehicles are the key to happiness in the Era of Global Warming. Down and Out in the Ivy League begins with a childhood in the 1960's, where medieval Catholic doctrines and practices must be juggled against the Cuban Missile Crisis and post-Sputnik science classes. Next, it's on to the Ivy League, where he's left financially stranded and lives in rags on the edge of starvation while surrounded with drug-crazed heirs and heiresses. After graduation Eccarius pokes his nose into the real world of government and corporate government by deception. At times the book takes surreal twists, leading the reader to a few final tales of times both future and ancient. Throughout Eccarius is the master at reflecting the twisted nature of humanity and modern institutions.
