B. Robert (Bob) Anderson is a Management Consultant and author. He was owner-operator of an independent Foodservice Distribution Company for 22 years. Later, he served as Executive Editor of ID Magazine, a trade publication. He has been a Lecturer at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia and an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at Atlantic Community College in Mays Landing, NJ, where he taught Advertising, Sales Management, and Small Business Management.
During the past 30 years Anderson has published over 900 articles. Prentice-Hall is the publisher of his two college texts, Professional Selling and Professional Sales Management.
Since 1970 he has been head of the ANDERSON ASSOCIATES, a Management Consulting group with heavy specialization in Family Businesses. Their unique approach to the entrepreneurs is best expressed in their motto, You don't have to be sick to get better.
Anderson grew up in Philadelphia and now resides with his wife, Joyce, in Linwood, NJ.
