Linnea Sinclair is a former news reporter and retired private investigator who writes science fiction romance under her own name, and fantasy and scifi as Megan Sybil Baker. Her novels are consistent award winners, including the prestigious Sapphire, PEARL, Eppie and ERA awards. Her essay column for Futures magazine was a Pushcart Literary Nominee in 1998.

In addition to writing, she teaches seminars in both the craft of writing, and in private investigation techniques for mystery authors at writing conventions nationwide, and conducts seminars online in the same subjects. She also is staff cover artist for NBI books, and provides freelance cover art services to several other publishing houses. Sinclair lives in South Florida, U.S.A. with her husband, a professional golfer, and her four thoroughly spoiled cats.
