R. E. Bartlett lives in the North Island of New Zealand amidst dairy-farming country. While she does not particularly enjoy the smell that that kind of district can
produce, she does enjoy the scenery as she walks her dog.
Her hobbies include eating,walking, writing, reading, eating, music, gardening, watching movies, eating, cooking, but despite the apparent domesticity of those activities, she is not into needlepoint. Though her pets have included a hyper-active Doberman, a loudmouth Siamese cat, a silly goat, and a wacky duck, she pays little attention to what
is said about pets being like their owners.
