Gordon Basichis was born in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Temple University. He worked as a journalist and as an executive in marketing, advertising and public relations. He has also worked in the entertainment industry as a screen and television writer and producer. Basichis has lived in a number of cities, including New York, Houston and Austin, and he alternated the bulk of his time between Southern California and Northern New Mexico. He has since decided he is ultimately better off closer to the ocean, where he lives with his wife and son.
