Gary T. Brideau was born in a small house in Brooklyn, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1947. He then moved to Bridgeport, Connecticut in 1953 as a small boy with his family. Because of dyslexia, attending school for Gary was difficult, and he was passed on special consideration, just to get rid of him. Hoping for a better future and tired of being made fun of by the teacher’s pets in the eight grade, he left school to see what the working world was like.
He was married in 1973. His wife gave birth to a son, Nathaniel, in 1977. Unfortunately the marriage only lasted for eight years. After the divorce, Gary drifted around from place to place, until he met Lauren in 1985, the Love of His Life. They were married in 1996, and moved to Bristol, Connecticut.
