Paul M. Carhart was born a cartoonist in Long Beach, California. Throughout his childhood, he nurtured a deep love for science fiction and fantasy literature, film and television as well as the Disney animated features.

Since 1990, he has been an award-winning print and multimedia designer and Art Director. In addition to writing and publishing his short stories, novels and nonfiction, Paul is also an illustrator, musician, singer and songwriter, which uniquely qualifies him to envision and breathe life into such an eclectic array of creative characters. In 1998, Paul moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado where he continues to cultivate his imagination.
