The writer Todd Cheney was born in Brookfield, Wisconsin on
a stormy Tuesday morning in 1978. He spent most of his childhood in and around Brookfield, a suburb of Milwaukee and has never lived in a different state.

Cheney showed an early interest in fantasy and science
fiction after his older brother became involved in reading
F/SF novels and playing role-playing games. Cheney's hobbies include reading (of course!), playing guitar, painting and drawing. As of April 2004 he is at work on a Journalism degree from the University of Wisconsin.

Writing his first novel when he was only 22, and unemployed, Cheney has since written two more, and plans to continue writing for as long as possible (or until he dies, whichever comes first).

He has no known relation to the current VP of the U.S.,
Richard Cheney.
