Mari Collier was born in the state of Iowa, Lincoln Township, Audubon County until the age of 14. Severe allergies led to a move to Phoenix, Arizona where she completed high school and attended Phoenix College. Previous employment includes bookkeeper, collector, receptionist, and Advanced Super Agent for Nintendo of America. She resides in Twentynine Palms, CA. She is Coordinator for the Desert Writers Guild of Twentynine Palms and on the Board of Directors for the Twentynine Palms Historical Society. Several of her short stories have appeared electronically in the Sun Runner. Other short stories are published in That’s Life, Tales from the Land of Little Rain, and Tales from a Thirsty Land. She has two adult children and five grandchildren.
