Charles Daniel's character was shaped by the public school systems of many of these United States, and by life in an army family and, later on, by the hard realities of life on the streets.
Now in semi-retirement, he spends most waking moments tied to the keyboard and most nights dreaming of new plot lines in alternate futures of daring-do. Besides writing, he also works part-time as a character actor in extreme-sports videos and voice-over narration in radio and television commercials. His hobbies include skydiving, fluffy kittens, and intelligent attractive women. His personal philosophy is: "There are only two things in life that matter, the simple enjoyment of its pleasures and having a significant beneficial effect upon others. Everything else is crap."
