Robert Dunbar lives in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia -- one of the oldest neighborhoods in the country. The house is big and drafty (but the ghosts don't seem to mind). He writes and produces daytime programming, mostly for public television and the Discovery Channel, but occasionally for HGTV or Comcast. He works hard to maintain a small but solid reputation as a serious literary writer, working in the genre, and he's been extensively published in Great Britain (where editors seem more likely to "get" my work).
In 2003, his short fiction appeared in many places, among them an anthology from Descant called "Speculative Fiction" and another from Catalyst Press called "Reckless Abandon."
his play "BATS!" which won several regional theater awards was recently published in book form by Mousseau Enterprises Theatrical Publishers.
Biography provided by the author, February 2004.
